Timber!

Danny was right at home in today's activity. Chopping down a pine tree that had outgrown our garden. We waited until Ange was out for the day and then got to it. Loppers, saws, axes and ladders...all in a days work. Our task was to get it all stripped, chopped and the evidence removed before she returned.

We worked together well as a team on this dangerous activity! Will was a bit concerned for my welfare when I was up on the top step of the ladder reaching up to cut off the higher branches and then the top of the tree. I tied myself on with dog leads!!
