Ira and Small-tail
78 (squirrel: 8 months). Retired bond trader, now defender of squirrels, grackles, and other nut-eating animals, Tues. through Sun. mornings.
Normally I don't talk to slightly pervy-looking guys in parks but he was staked out out next to the wildly cheerful tulip gardens near the World Trade Center cherry blossom grove. Recalled the days of Mayor Dinkins (1990-1993) as the time you could still feed the giraffes in the Bronx Zoo, and worked in the World Trade Center despite acrophobia.
