....or snow if you say it without an Aberdonian accent.

I don't think I've seen snow like this in Queensferry since I was a kid. I'd proper stuff that crunches when you walk on it instead of the slushy muddy rubbish we normally get here.

I guess it's because we're so close to sea level.

It's certainly a novelty. Admittedly it doesn't make travel easy but I can't say I'm fussed about that. Any excuse to do as little as possible.
