Dogwood

I can't get over these green flowers! We planted this dogwood in the front yard a year ago to replace a Japanese maple that up and died rather suddenly. The dogwood was a little scrawny and rootbound, but it has settled in nicely and has a fair smattering of these exquisite flowers. It's fun to watch all the stages of a new plant and see how it responds to a new environment. Well, it's only fun if the transplanting is a success.
