Finale
The last climb and the finish of the Paris to Ancaster. It was very pleasant out amongst the trees and fresh air. I was there partly for work but more importantly because I wanted to get outside. Very pleased with myself for not getting lost in the wilds of Canada and actually finding the place. Getting home was a little different. I chose to go back a different way and explore the country side; hoping to put the camera to work, but every time I wanted to stop there were twenty dozen speed obsessed goons in ridiculously large vehicles all sitting 1cm from my rear making it very difficult to stop every half a kilometre to get the camera out. Not that it is an easy task to stop on the sides of Canadian roads. There is no room. Although I had no idea where I was, nor knew where I was going I never really felt lost even if I was. Eventually I found my way back without too much of detour.
I have been in a different space for a while and not making any photographs (taking a photograph doesn't seem quite the right word for it). Most of my time outside of work has been spent playing funny buggers with synths and making noise. The exploration and experiments with noise making continued with picture making as I played with the processing today simply because I wasn't satisfied with the photo as shot - a bit too boring for my taste. Not that the above is any improvement.
I have started a Sound Cloud page to store these noise experiment things. If you have head phones and can put up with a bit of pain between the ears, then feel free to have a listen to a little bit of wind.
An extra no bike and only a little bit of noise experimental pic from today is here.
