Dendrochronology

It's the study of telling the age of a tree by the rings within its trunk. This was a felled tree stump we found while walking Booboo this morning. Unusual colouring I thought.

Going out for a friends birthday Monday night. I wonder if we could see a cross section of him if he'd have the 57 rings to denote his years too.
