MonoMonday : Lines

What do you do when you come home with a dripping umbrella ? I open mine up and leave it in the downstairs shower, assuming it's not occupied by Mr. Beewatcher.
There's an old superstition that it's unlucky to open an umbrella indoors, but it doesn't bother me. My mother was quite superstitious, maybe she inherited that from her parents who'd lived in Cornwall. I remember she was always worried about seeing crossed knives. I'm not superstitious except for one thing, if I spill salt I always have to throw a pinch over my left shoulder. I've no idea why, so I've just looked it up and this is the answer.
