Home for the next few days

Spending a short week at the Old Smiddy Cottage on Loch Katrine close to Stronachlachar Pier, a lovely place to chill out, the nearest village Aberfoyle is 11 miles away on an interesting drive down a mostly single switch back roller coaster of a road I loved driving down it each day.
Stronachlachar is not so much a village as an odd little collection of cottages and houses some of which once belonged to Scottish Water when they had a base there.
Recently converted three bedroom cottage, with log burning fire, on water’s edge of Loch Katrine. Breathtaking views of Loch Katrine, Ben Lomond, Ben Ledi and Ben Venue.
