MONOMONDAY : Lines “Deus Ex Machina”

Went to the riverfront for this sculpture as it's made of strips of steel and I thought that would fit the brief taking a closer look there's lines everywhere


Deus Ex Machina”, the first of the three sculptures designed by Boysen for The Riverfront, represents a different approach for Boysen. He has created this sculpture using digital laser scanning of actual objects which are then reassembled as ‘slices’ to re-create the illusion of three dimensional form. The sculpture is intended to be very theatrical because of the way that it changes as the viewer walks around it.
