Cooling off.

I had been into the park at dawn this morning, but came away with no Blips - more about that later.
This afternoon, knowing that there was going to be some sunshine I took myself back, and had a lovely ride around, and saw many creatures as you can see here.

Yesterday, when I went to feed the geese there was no Hoppity. I waited for quite a while, and searched but to no avail. And, again, this morning, no Hoppity. The real reason for my going back this afternoon was to have one more check. I fear that Hoppity has lost his battle to survive. I feel so incredibly sad - silly, I guess - but I have watched him from day to day for a few weeks now, and hoped so much that this plucky little gosling would managed to make it to goose-hood. That is nature I guess.
