Barrington quarry

A short trip out today for a tour around Barrington quarry. Very kind of the site manager John Drayton MBE to allow us access and generally poke about! Very quiet, great views, a pair of nesting peregrines, and an unnerving discovery about the source of our local water.

Must get along to the next exhibition in a couple of weeks if around. Future plans for the site also sound good.

It was then back to work for the second half of Monday which actually wasn't too bad.
