Boat from Interlaken Ost.

Today it rained all day but did that stop us? Of course not! We walked to Interlaken Ost where we boarded this boat and went across Brienzersee to Iseltwald. From here we walked on a lakeside path through some woods to Giessbach. Here we saw some spectacular water falls and then climbed up the hill to the Grand Hotel, Giessbach. I think we must have looked like a couple of drowned rats by now but we were allowed in and had an excellent meal.

After this we took the Funicular railway down to the lake where we took a boat to Brienz and explored a little. Finally we took the train back to Interlaken.
