Double feeling poorly

Well Phoebe is feeling better today. She has slept all day (nothing unusual there) but she is still not herself. Lilly was very ill yesterday, in fact last night I was worried she might not make it through the night. She didn't even want to lift her head when I went to bed, she just lay there groaning. I got up to her several times in the night and did manage to get her to drink a couple of "sips". So they both slept on the bed with me balanced on the edge as I didn't want to move them (sucker!) This morning Lilly got up with us and both of them ate a little. But Lilly is still not drinking which is very unlike her. Her back legs are stiff too. I was worried it was her kidneys but when we took her to the vet he thinks it is a reaction to the shots she had last week. She has a high fever and has swelling at the injection sites in her back legs, but although she hasn't drunk anything he didn't think she was dehydrated. She is now on antibiotics and anti inflammatory meds. So they are both feeling very sorry for themselves. Poor kitties. Hopefully better news tomorrow.
