"The Great Escape!

My son in law Richard came for the day to do my garden (and bought Diva with him of course) It has been a gorgeous sunny hot day and we got lots of work done. Dead things out, trees and plants pruned, eucalyptus shrub planted. I have planted carrots, turnips, runner beans, sweetcorn and an unknown veg (lost the label I put on the seeds !!)

My rose and jasmin has survived the winter - brilliant also my clematis. It is still a young garden and I am waiting for things to get established.

Going to Huddersfield tomorrow to meet my friend Peta for lunch. She has just come back from staying in Los Angeles for three months. Lot of catching up to do.
