Super Trooper

Today was one of the few times I have really NEEDED rather than just wanted 4WD.

En-route to the stables we came to the aid of a damsel in distress - an interior designer with a set of curtains that had to be delivered for Christmas!

The road north of Cupar was solid white and slippy. And it has to be said that the damsel was dressed for delivering curtains to discerning clients - not the wild winter.

She and her partner were failing to get their van up a long snowy hill - after prolonged attempts with grit and mats they gave up, abandoned the van in a safe spot and then the Super Trooper delivered them, their curtains and their upholstered pelmet to the house - which just happened to belong to the stables owners. So we scored brownie points all round.

Didn't once feel out of control or like we might not make it up the hill. Fantastic.
