Good Old Quentin

My lunchtime, inspiration seeking, wanderings took me to the University campus where I took an assortment of random photos of things. I quite liked this shot of the Roger Stevens building. I don't know much about it so I did a little bit of reading up about it which lead me to wondering about the sculpture. This lead me to find out more about Quentin Bell, the one time Professor of Fine Art at Leeds University who's sculpture adorns this modernist building. As I sat here reading about Quentin and his oddly shaped mugs and leaking vases, I realised I was reading an obituary of a man who's art doesn't particular interest me and who I have no particular connection to. Oh well, pretty much sums up today, directionless. Good old Quentin.
