Interesting Centre

When I got in from work this evening, I had some time before dinner to have a walk around our garden.

I came across this shrub with lovely flowers blooming. Again, I do not know what this shrub is called - perhaps someone can help me with this?

When I took this close up, I realised how 'different' the centre of the blooms were.
