National Potrait Gallery
I was up in London today and visited the National Portrait Gallery. It's somewhere I've wanted to go to for a long time now, but it's just one of those things you never find the time for. But today I made time and boy I'm glad I did. It's amazing, full of culture and terrific works of art. I enjoyed it so much I've already told my wife I'll be taking another (longer) trip there again in the near future, and next time I'll have a look in the National Gallery too.
The Michael Caine picture is massive, it fills the entire wall that leads up to one of the floors where you find paints of Margaret Thatche3r, Tony Blair, The Duchess of Cambridge (Catherine) and Simon Weston to name but a few.
