The day job now focuses on a circular economy, but I returned to the low carbon economy world tonight for the annual 2020 Climate Group lecture, delivered this year by Bishop James Jones, in the fantastic surroundings of St Paul's and St George's Church.

My previous life in this field focused on hard measures to reduce emissions and meet hard statutory targets, so it was a fresh perspective for me to have a tour of #mythsmoralsmoney.

Bishop Jones touched on the presentation of climate change in the media influenced by the human need to hear stories (instead of facts), the resonance of a post apocalyptic world ravaged by climate change with some interpretations of holy texts; and the insatiable appetite of the consumer.
