Painting the Lane Shops windows

The Lane Shops used to manufacture sawmills, water wheels, cranes, granite working machinery and more. When they closed, the Montpelier Housing Authority bought the complex and created lower income, senior and subsidized housing. They are well maintained with lots of indoor and outdoor community space.
