A Simple Tulip...

What a cracking Spring morning!

Warm enough to be without a coat or jacket, and very little wind so easier for macro shots.

I did my usual walk around the lake at Trentham Gardens.

The formal section of the Italian Garden is currently full of tulips. As this section is changed with each season I thought I'd choose this shot to upload today.

Birds spotted:

Herons - at least 20 possibly more - I think the young ones are just starting to explore the trees beyond the nests
Ducks - mallard, tufted & mandarin
Geese - greylag & Canada
Moorhen
Coots - at least 2 new nests too
Tree creeper
Nuthatch
Chiff chaff or willow warbler - they look very similar?
Pigeons
Robin
Blackbird
Tits - blue & great
Wren
Great Crested Grebes
