Looooong day #Mono Monday Lines
I spent most of my day discussing the merits or otherwise of a junior colleague and how to tackle some issues that have arisen with her work. The only problem is I'm not sure that one of my colleagues in particular is playing fair and I think he may even be being vindictive to suit his own ends. I need to think carefully.
I met the newest member of our team, baby Lucas, brought in to meet us all for the first time by proud new mum, K. He was a real cutie, fast asleep and perfectly behaved. Mind you, at 10 days old that's not hard.
I practised a few landscape shots on different settings on the new camera whilst waiting for the shrink. I did enjoy that and it was a beautiful day to boot. I also booked onto a digital photography evening class starting today to help me get to grips with the new camera. I am getting so much enjoyment from taking photos at the moment that I'm hoping I can enjoy it even more with some technical expertise and the new camera too.
The shrink session was ok after a 10 day break. I was quite defensive at the beginning but managed to bring myself back and it was a reasonable session. I've moved these to Wednesdays from now on to accommodate the photography course, but luckily it suited him too.
So I then dashed across the county and arrived only a few minutes late to the course. The first session was basic but fine. Interestingly, there were 8 women and only two males one of which was under 16, with his mum. I did like the tutor, which helps. He seems to know his stuff. I hope the course challenges me for the price it's costing me! It'll be an investment. (My blip is of the college building).
At 9pm I was completely whacked and it was good to come home. As I've got a free day tomorrow, I'm catching up on Crimson Field before bed.
