Low water finds . . .

Another afternoon messing about in boats, but we finally got the mooring ashore. It was the perfect weather for it too, bright sunshine and a cloudless sky!

Down at low water we found this little beauty! It is a small, knee height, stationery engine with two fly wheels and a flat belt drive pulley, I am reliably informed!

It has probably been here for years and years, lying amongst the kelp, covered in all sorts of weed and gently rusting away. I love rootling around at low tide, you never know what you are going to find . . . !
