Teddy Boy

I think there's every chance that there are more Teddy Boys about now than there were in their heyday. Kevin here has been a Teddy Boy for 47 years and gave me an insight into the vitality of this subculture which seems to have spread around the world. He made for a great photographic subject, allowing me to take lots of pictures, so many indeed that it's been hard to make a choice tonight. In the end, I decided I couldn't post a shot of this lovely man without including his wonderful shoes! After much procrastination I think I also prefer this more candid shot to the posed ones.
