no matter how you eat them - now is the time to indulge - when they are at their very best - fully in season - found at the market in abundance - overflowing - there is a part of me which is seeing so many - i almost feel a primal instinct to turn to the canning of them - longing to pull out the pots - pectin - sugar - jars - and get set to boiling on the stove top - i know, sounds crazy, right? but there is something very rewarding in the process - then the resulting product - not to mention the ability to share said product with friends - take another look at that luscious piece of fruit - and tell me - it wouldn't make for...
