Well Hello There!!

I had driven along Mt Blackheath Road on Shipley Plateau just before sunset tonight to see if the grey kangaroos were feeding in the paddock next to my friends property. Last night as I drove home I was astonished to see dozens of them feeding quite happily on the fresh grass that has come through since the rain earlier this month.

Guess what, not one of them in sight tonight. I couldn't believe it. However, I drove a little further along the road and found this lovely little grey kangaroo quite happily munching away and not a bit worried about me. I will return however because it's quite a phenomenon to see so many kangaroos in the one patch on Shipley.
