Skunk cabbage

Visited my parents today to help take another load of scrap metal to the recycling plant. They have rented a garbage dumpster to clean out the top of the barn and what was left of the camper that collapsed. While there, I took Riley for a long walk and we went past a swampy area, and this skunk cabbage was all over around the edges of a small creek. I also saw a wild turkey roaming around in there but the brush was so thick I couldn't pick him out on my photo.

We were very tired after a physical day, but satisfied that progress is being made.
