He's Back!

Dear Diary,

It seems like everyday I am drawn to the crab apple tree and am rewarded by a new visitor. Today it is the white throated sparrow...back from his winter vacation in the south. He is such a lovely little guy. His markings are quite striking. I've been scattering cracked corn on the ground to attract those who prefer to feed this way. Everyday there is something new to enchant me.
