Mother and Baby

Watching this moorhen this morning.

She has three babies.

They are so tiny.

They were all on the island.

She was swimming across the lake.

Picking up titbits that were being fed to the ducks.

She would then swim back to the island and feed her young.

She did this repeatedly.

They would rush to her when they saw her approach.

Lovely to watch.
