Chestnut Spikes

I tried to find you, on you tube Richard Burton reading Thomas Hardy's 'Weathers' , with no luck, so had to settle for Emma Fielding's reading, frustrating cos I have a recording of Burton's glorious voice reading it.
I had his voice saying " when showers betumble the Chestnut Spikes ", so went on an expedition in Cemetery Road to find them.

I spoke with helpful Garage Steve this morning, asking him to check my car, which has been immobile since November. He insightfully said " you'll want to feel confident in it ". I'd not realised just how much confidence in my physical self I've lost!!. It's carried me through so much and is now in tatters!!.
At least I now know that.
