Beside the sea

A great day out on the train to Borth on the Welsh coast today. Although Aberdyfi is clearly more affluent and has the edge in terms of cafes, ice cream shops, and pretty seaside houses running up the steep streets, I much prefer Borth beach, with proper rockpools, a petrified forest, seabirds, craggy rocks to climb, plenty of sand and today even some surfers to watch.
