Old Museum
This morning there was a reception to thank the Department of Social Development, who have funded the replacement of the front railings and the external lighting for the Old Museum Building, Belfast.
The railings were removed to contribute metal for the war effort.
I thought a blip of the second floor Balcony Room would make a good post for today.
Meanwhile our society which owns the building, (opened in 1831), are working towards gaining a Heritage Lottery grant towards the refurbishment and modernisation of the building.
