Whoops!!

I had just got back from a walk round the village to find something to blip as it has been a blipless sort of day. I looked out of the kitchen window to see this wood pigeon (one of a pair that come to the garden to eat the dropped birdseed). It was on my washing line and losing it's balance as it's a fair weight on a narrow line. It just had to be blip of the day!
I really enjoyed this morning's talk at U3A, it was a local wildlife photographer whose photos are just wonderful. I'd never manage to carry (or afford) all his gear though!

A postscript to my day. I had a broken non-recycleable woven box that I'd put in the shed to go to the tip. It was bin day today so put in there instead. This afternoon I couldn't find my gardening shoes to do the garden. Then it dawned - I'd put them in the box to dry out as they'd got wet last time and hadn't looked in when I put it in the bin. Ah well, I'll have to relegate another pair now!
