Heat haze on the River Forth

Well, would you believe it. It was warm this afternoon in Kirkcaldy, and when I returned home from a visit to the High Street, I noticed I couldn't see across the Forth to Edinburgh because of a heat haze!

You can just see a rig amidst the haze, as it is nearer to the Kirkcaldy side of the river.

Its good to feel the sun and see the growth in gardens bringing a colourful splash to the town. So I am quite content that the view is restricted due to a heat haze.
