The survivor?

Was quite depressed yesterday when I saw our local idiot farmer muck spreading (normally done in the winter) on a meadow that I knew has a pair of nesting Curlews in it. Thought the chance of the nest surviving was nil. Surprise, surprise the tractor wheels missed it by a couple of inches but it did get some cow dung on it. Lets hope he keep out of there now until they have raised their clutch !
