What better way.......

.............to spend Christmas Eve.

Dogs walked in the snow soon after dawn.

Fire lit and logs and coal brought in.

Accountant visited and tax bill paid - nasty job on any day of the year!

All shopping done.

Carol service at 4.30 in Oswestry.

The rest of the day to 'sample' the sloe gin, start a new book as I've just finished this one, and devour the odd mince pie.

Oh and by the way....................this is my 100th blip! Not consecutive but will try to do a little better for the next 100.

PS. Just found that there are no other mince pies in the house (and this one belongs to someone else - don't ask) so will have to get some from somewhere before the carol service! Christmas without mince pies. Unheard of! :)
