A dazed chaffinch

There are lots of chaffinches around Tyven. Their song is the typical summertime bird song - and these fellows sing as if there were no tomorrow all around the clock.

This poor little thing was sitting on our terrace trying to recover from having flown against the living room window this morning.

I took the shot through the window before going to work. It was still quite cold, too, but luckily the chaffinch managed to get on its wings and flew away.
