Membrillo and manchego

Now this is not particularly good blip but it tells a little bit about me and some of my village girlfriends. It is a little quince tree which I planted last year. We love making membrillo or quince jam/paste to eat with cheese. We ran out of our supply of quinces so I planted a new tree. Maybe this autumn we will be able make a new supply of sweet, golden membrillo. I will keep you posted.
