The one that got away

Quite a productive day. We chose some fencing for the garden, spent a very pleasurable few hours at RSPB Old Moor, and got a shrub for the garden on the way home and were given some free primroses. At OM we saw a barn owl and lots of other birds., and heard a bittern booming very loudly (either that or someone was staying in the middle of a reed bed blowing across the top of a bottle). There were quite a few butterflies around, but not in close up photography situations. I tried using my long lens to capture this Orange Tip on a Cuckoo fFower, but it flew away, just as I clicked.
