Nuthatch

I spotted this gorgeous nuthatch today and I also heard the Dawn chorus this morning, really not by choice.
Just before 3am I heard a noise outside and closed my window, but then settled back down until I heard the dreaded thrashing beside me, yes my little chihuahua Theo was having a fit, luckily I was partly awake and managed to talk him out of it quite quickly. Trouble is he takes a long time to settle afterwards and becomes very clingy, so just before 5am I heard the Dawn chorus and then cried myself back to sleep, only to be woke at 6.30am by the alarm.
