Herd Dynamics

Boring day of building work at "work" today. Two hour meeting with financial adviser! A late visit to give Miller an evening feed ( a cunning ploy to keep him catchable while on 24/7 turnout ) while Mrs A S administered the trip to the barn feed and hooves picked out and the return to field. I walked the field on the lookout for the dreaded " Ragwort " and could not help notice the change in the "herd dynamics" when Miller had been removed. When we arrived the herd was closely grouped and slowly grazing across the field. By the time he was returned the grazing was covering the ground three times faster and there were minor disputes breaking out lower down the order! Only wish there had been more time, daylight and a little warmth I could have spent ages watching them.
Hoping you are all well ;)
