The wingpiglet's room took less than a day, the kitchen a couple of evenings and the living room mere hours but the bathroom was significantly more of a pain in the arse to strip the wallpaper from, presumably due to the resistance of wallpaper presumably designed to be used in a hot and steamy room to a device designed to strip wallpaper by loosening it with hot and steamy air. Even scoring it thrice as densely didn't work, resulting in three evenings working at it from home-time to storytime, the likelihood of even a tired boy sleeping through the sound of a paint-scraper scratching at the wall behind his head being low.
