Scented posy

As I was wandering around Mum's garden to look for inspiration for a blip I noticed that the lily of the valley were out. I took a few photos in situ, but it had been raining so much that they were splattered with mud! I picked some of them and a little rose which I think is Zephirine Dronhin, I know that it begins with Z anyway! The scent was SO lovely, that I took them in to the hospital for Mum to smell. She really appreciated it.
She has not really improved sadly and now has a deep vein thrombosis..... I really wonder how much more she can take.
I am hoping to go home tomorrow for a couple of days as my niece and her friend are here and will visit Mum twice a day. However, I will make up my mind en route to the M25 when I call in the hospital to say goodbye.
