Wood Amenomes
It was a lovely spring day in Edinburgh, warm and sunny. We went on our bikes to the Botanics, and looked at an exhibition of the winners of the International Garden Photographer of the Year. There were some stunning pictures, and as ever, tastes differ as to the best shots. The gardens have spectacular azaleas and rhododendrons at present, but it was these wood anemones that stood out to me. They are so simple, but full of colour, standing out against their leaves.
