Thistle Down

By Ethel

Ocean Water

Laughing water,
Sun bright beams.
Greens and yellows,
And streaked with gleams.

I can see them,
With my eyes.
Dark reflections,
From the skies.

Tumbling motions,
At the edge.
Buglets wiggling,
In the dredge.

Wonder water,
Picking sticks.
Tossing...turning,
Full of tricks.

Ocean water,
Wild and wide.
Pretty pink-shells,
That try to hide.
