Jawbones and haar

It was a very sunny day, so Tony and I decided to go out of the city to visit a town which not only won Britain in Bloom in 2010, but also won several awards for the best public toilets in 1995 to 1998, three years in a row!

It was a very relaxing day - a climb up the hill to look back on the North Sea through these (fake) whale jawbones, to see the haar rolling in over the islands and rocks just off the coast. Then back down into town for some fish and chips on the beach and ice cream in the sun..

And the toilets were indeed very nice.
