Transport

We drove to the coast in bright sunlight this morning and about quarter of a mile from the sea found ourselves in thick sea fog. Standing on the front we could hear the waves below, but couldn't see them.
So, it was an easy decision to return to Beamish. We took the bus to Pockerley old hall, had a ride on the steam waggon way, and a tram to the old village. There are so many forms of transport between the various parts of the museum.
As we arrived one little boy was throwing a tantrum because he didn't want to go home, and as we left another was sobbing for the same reason. We know how they felt!
