A Damp Day

Pretty grey and damp this morning so action required to make the most of it!

The garden is enjoying this refreshment after the unexpected summer heat of yesterday. The 'black' tulips look wonderful with raindrops.

Exciting things to do: going to the dump with the deceased flymo! getting in some food; finding the place for a sublime and mahoosive cheese scone with delicious soup; excellent coffee; a trip to the well-stocked Arran Active store at Claddach, where I found three items I had delayed buying so as to bring the business to the island.... shorts, trousers, walking sandals, all at a reduced price, easily competing with mainland shops! And finally. some summer socks!

No longer a grey day!

Now back indoors with some MOOC work to do on drug origins for the two week course I am doing.
