Male Eider

This male Eider was one of a flock of Eider sheltering in Burghead harbour. The wind was icy cold but we saw Sandwich Terns, Gannets, a Purple Sandpiper, Wheatear, a Long tailed duck, Black throated divers . Around the viewpoint we found Meadow Saxifrage, Wallflowers, Bladder Campion and Thrift.
