Apple Blossom

I was just heading out the door when I heard a voice call, "It's raining!" It was, the light had gone and I was too late. I'd been admiring next door's apple tree blossom which looked good, even in the subtle light. I took a couple of shots with the my old Nikkor f2.8 80-200. It's a lovely old lens, pre VR but I don't use it too much with the D800 and I've been wondering whether to put it on eBay. It did a nice job here but I can't keep it just for shots of next door's apple tree.

We're popping out for supper with sister-in-law who's down for a couple of days sorting out her late mother's estate. Won't be late though so I'll catch up a bit then.
